POST-LAUNCH SEO CHECKLIST

These are steps you can take to improve your SEO after site launch.

• Create a Google Business account and keep it active with posts and responding to reviews.

• Keep your site active by regularly updating content. The best way to do this is to add a blog where you share educational content for prospective clients.

  • I offer blog set-up and collaborative blog writing services. Feel free to schedule a call with me to discuss continuing our work together in this capacity.

• Get backlinks for your website:

  • Get listed on relevant directories (i.e. Psychology Today, ZocDoc, etc.).

  • Write guest blog posts, participate in podcasts, speak at events, or get interviewed for media articles to share educational information and generate links from reliable websites back to your site.

  • Do not hire an agency or freelancer to “get you backlinks.” These types of services will generally add your site to spammy directories, which can actually decrease the quality of your SEO and drive traffic to your site from folks who will never consider your services.
